HIGHLIGHTS
Replacing the existing 30-Inch Raw Water Well Field Link at the Turkey Creek Crossing.
Emergency Scope: Cabbiness Engineering provided the necessary design services to reconstruct and replace the existing 30-inch steel raw water well field line at the Turkey Creek crossing that supplies water from the City’s East Water Well Field. Due to the critial nature of this well field line to the City’s water supply system, the project was deemed an emergency by the city staff and City Commission.
Tie-In: The existing 30-inch steel waterline pipe connected just beyond the existing aerial crossing to an existing 30-inch cast iron pipe located either side of Turkey Creek.
Construction: The Cabbiness team analyzed different construction methods in order to help the city minimize construction costs and facilitate the speed of installation. Additionally, we coordinated and obtained the necessary construction permits for this project: ODEQ, US Army Corp of Engineers, and the City of Ponca City.
