HIGHLIGHTS
8,800-SF Combined Office Building
The design team of Cabbiness Engineering, llc and Design Architects Plus was selected by the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority (OTA) in July 2015 to prepare construction documents for replacing the existing OTA Maintenance/OHP Office Building on the Turner Turnpike with a new facility.
A new 8,800-SF combined office building was constructed as a shared facility for both the OTA maintenance staff and OHP staff. The building features additional office space for staff, new and enlarged restroom facilities, more storage space and a shared break room that doubles as a safe room. The new office building also includes a 1,900 square foot conference room that serves as the primary training space for OTA and OHP staff from around the state. Parking improvements to the building includes covered parking on each end of the building and an enlarged parking lot to accommodate large training groups. The maintenance facility security fence was also upgraded with automated security gates and two entrances. Site grading, paving and utilities design were required to support the proposed building improvements.
