Ponca City Utility Authority contracted with Cabbiness Engineering to prepare construction plans and specifications for a new gravity sanitary sewer main to replace the problematic Stoneridge lift station.
The City’s Wastewater collection Improvement Program Phase I identified this project as the 7th project to be completed with funding assistance provided by the Oklahoma Water Resources Board Clean Water State Revolving Fund. The project’s intent was to design and construct a new gravity sewer main to tie into the existing gravity main at Larkspur Drive.
The project design required Cabbiness Engineering to do the following:
-
Conduct Topographic Surveys
-
Investigate property ownership and plats along the project corridor
-
Investigate the utility companies pertaining to the locations of utilities
-
Construct the gravity sewer main
-
Replace the lift station
-
Install individual residential grinder pumps
In the design process, all concepts were coordinated with the PCUA Engineering staff as well as the ODEQ design policies and procedures.
