The City of Oklahoma City (OKC) desired to widen and improve a one and one tenth (1.1) mile section of NW 150th Street between Meridian Avenue and MacArthur Boulevard. Beginning immediately east of the NW 150th Street and MacArthur Boulevard intersection, the plan is to construct the new roadway eastward until the budget amount is exhausted. Added alternates will be designed to extend the roadway to the west end of the NW 150th Street Bridge over Bluff Creek, approximately nine hundred feet (900’) feet east of the Meridian Avenue section corner.

This segment of NW 150th Street is classification as an urban arterial roadway. The project’s intent is to widen the current two lane NW 150th Street to a four (4) lane, curbed roadway with a complete storm sewer system and connecting sidewalks. The roadway will continue to be centered on the section line and centered within a one hundred foot (100’) right-of-way corridor.
